Where would you draw the line with what you would be prepared to eat? Vegetarians and vegans obviously need not apply in answering this, but might point out the hypocrisy of meat eaters being less willing to east certain animals than others.
Most meat eaters would happily eat a burger made made from a cow, but would balk at the idea of eating one made from a cat. There are a few stories current about the eating of unusual animals, here they are:
Lions
The noble lion is described as The King Of The Jungle, despite the fact it live on the savanna. Does it belong on our dinner plates however? Bryan Mazon proprietor of Boca Tacos y Tequila in Tuscon Arizona thinks so. For a limited time his restaurant will serve African lion tacos. The restaurant in question has a history of putting unusual meats on the menu, including rattlesnake.

Tigers
These are nearly extinct in the wild due to outlandish theories regarding the medical effects of consuming the male tiger’s generative member.
Bears
Another American restaurateur, this time in St. Paul, has caused controversy by announcing that he is to serve roast bear. The reason for the unusual roast is to show support for local NFL team the Green Bay Packers ahead of their clash against rivals the Chicago Bears.
Oh my
The world’s population is rising. Fast. The increased price of grain has already led to the cost of meat rising dramatically over the last few years , and this will be a trend that will continues. Dutch scientist are looking for alternatives (other than vegetarianism) and are examining the feasibility of insects and other creepy crawlies replacing cows and sheep in our diets. Although this is an unappetizing prospect now the researcher behind the project envisions a time where a simple beef burger could cost as much as 120 Euro, with an insect-based alternative being a tenth of the price.
